Corey learned early that nothing else beats working for yourself. Susan was motivated to sell the most, to be the best, to reach the goal. While working as individuals and Team Leaders, Corey Carter & Susan Geer were working on their skills that would eventually become the foundation in operating their own real estate brokerage.

While studying business administration, Corey became more intrigued with the idea of owning his own real estate business. “I watched family members invest in real estate all my life,” says Corey. “I found it interesting, challenging and an exciting industry to begin my career.” He was only 21. “I knew all about hard work as well as the satisfaction of working for myself. From age 9 to 18, I owned a neighborhood paper route, which provided me with a small peek into the world of entrepreneurship.”

Susan recalls the contest for an orange television set, on display in her elementary school. “It matched my bedroom and I had to have it,” she laughs. The television was to be awarded to the top seller for the school fundraiser and once she saw it, no one else had a chance. “My mother took me door to door, day after day. She encouraged me, taught me persistence and the commitment to reach a goal. I won the orange television!”

By combining their strengths and implementing proven systems, together Corey and Susan immediately became some of the top real estate professionals in the Reno-Sparks area. Corey embodies real estate knowledge, experience and integrity. Corey grew up in the local Reno-Sparks area beginning his Realtor career in 1998. Embracing a team concept of client representation, in 2003 he co-founded a real estate team, Carter-Geer & Associates, quickly becoming one of the most productive teams in the local market over the last decade. He became a broker/owner of his own real estate firm, RE/MAX Professionals, in 2013. Born with a spirit of entrepreneurship, Corey started developing his customer service and sales skills at the age of nine by selling and delivering the Reno-Gazette Journal Newspaper to his local neighborhoods. He has since built a successful career in the real estate industry for over 20 years. He has worked with every aspect of the industry representing sellers, buyers and luxury properties in the Reno-Sparks residential real estate market.

Susan Geer

Susan brings over 30 years of experience in various facets of real estate. Her niche is in marketing homes and is an extremely talented negotiator. Susan’s secret to success is high communication and superior customer service. She makes sure the buyers and sellers understand the entire homebuying process from start to finish, with follow through and excellent service. Her consistency in these vital aspects of the real estate transaction ensure numerous referrals and repeat business. In her spare time, Susan loves spending time outdoors and spoiling her three beautiful grandchildren.

Jim Elliott

Jim began his real estate career in 1st grade. Well, he officially became a Realtor in 2004, but he feels he’s been fostering relationships in the community since he began elementary school. He has lived in Northern Nevada his entire life, and he knows the area and the people, very well. Selling your home with Jim is an experience based on exceptional service and extensive market knowledge. “It’s not business, it’s personal. There are people and families at the heart of real estate transactions, and they each have their own goals. Jody Call

Jody has called the Reno-Sparks area home since 1981. She has focused on customer service her entire career and loves to spoil her clients by always going the extra mile to exceed their expectations. Jody has been a Realtor for nearly 20 years and has been a team member with Carter-Geer & Associates since 2010. She balances her profession with her love of faith, family, hiking and choral singing. John Von Nolde

John has spent his entire life in the Reno/Tahoe area. First in Squaw Valley, where his father was involved in the Olympics. To Reno where he attended Wooster High School and the University of Nevada Reno as an athlete with a full scholarship. Many people also know John from his long-time involvement in the local music scene, where he played bass for many top local bands, or his years as a coach for youth sports. John’s experience in Real Estate both as a Realtor and an Investor, make him uniquely qualified to represent both Buyers and Seller in the ever changing and sophisticated Real Estate market.

Caitie recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in Communication Studies. In addition to her studies, Caitie has obtained various internships ranging from communications with local media to human resources. Caitie’s attention to detail, and her ability to create and implement effective systems will increase the teams ability to better serve their clients. In her free time, she enjoys quality time with her friends and family as well as the outdoors.
